Dringhouses Local History Group Privacy Statement
The Dringhouses Local History Group is a voluntary association that exists to promote knowledge, understanding and enjoyment for the history of Dringhouses in the City of York, from earliest times to the present day.
To that end the Group has members who by virtue of a membership fee derive benefit through a lecture programme and regular newsletter. They also contribute to the management of the group through the formal structure of its constitution and its Annual or any Special, General Meetings.
To fulfil these ends members receive information, either electronically or through hard copy.
In accordance with Data Protection Regulation the Dringhouses Local history Group confirms the following. Personal data in the form of the name, address and email of members is held by the Membership Secretary and Secretary of the group. This data is for the sole use of the Dringhouses Local History Group and is not shared with any other individual or organisations.
The information is used with explicit consent from members that they wish to receive information pertinent to the objects of the association.
