The village of Dringhouses has a history going back 2,000 years. The Dringhouses Local History Group (DLHG) was formed in February 2005 by local residents to recall and explore how the village has developed and how it continues to change.
DLHG has a programme including visits, presentations and discussions. The Group has developed a network of research topics and an archive of present-day Dringhouses. DLHG produces leaflets and mounts displays for the community. Membership costs £2 per year.
